3 stars was generous. I absolutely love the idea with this story. I like the magic. I liked the politic structure. I just think that the book was a little bit boring... okay alot boring. Once Camillia got placed in a house it was all her thoughts and making people beautiful. Not a whole lot happened. I also wasn't a huge fan of Camillia. She was naive but thought she could do no wrong. It was annoying. I am hoping to get more of the other belles in the next book.
I will probably continue with the story because I found the storyline interesting but I just hope more happens in the the next book. I think the next book should have more. The way this one ended set up the next book for some action! So I am looking forward to it.
