Bizarre, but engaging
I have mixed feelings about this book. When i first started reading it, I felt so intrigued by the storyline and by each of the characters and how they interacted with each other.
However, the story became really bizarre as it went on. Part of the reason for my 3 star review is the way the book was written. The writing is very snappy and engaging, but kind of juvenile. I realize this is a YA novel, but I just couldn't overlook some of it.
The story itself is pretty interesting. The concept of a society built upon beauty reminds me a bit of the Uglies series I still love to this day.
Depsite my 3 star rating, I do intend to continue on with this series and see what happend to Camilla in the next book!
