I loved this book and can't wait for the next book in the series. I found it to be a quick read, because I couldn't put it down. You are immediately immersed in the story and come to connect with the characters quickly. Camellia is a great character that faces impossible choices. The world the author has created is amazing and quite unusual I can't imagine being born without color.
There is so much mystery and intrigue surrounding what the Belles can do and their lives after their debut. So much happened in this book it is hard to believe it covered such a small time frame. The Belles' abilities is unusual but so interesting to read about. I hope the sequel delves into the history of the Belles and how their magic works.
