Beauty controls everything in this world where people are born grey and uniform, but are able to change their appearance with the help of the Belles, girls who can use 'beautifying' magic to change any aspect of the body, even personality. Camellia wants to be chosen over her Belle sisters as the favorite, but when she finally gets to the royal court, she finds the job not exactly what she was expecting and the request from ther Queen even less so. But as she falls deeper and deeper into court politics and is exposed to the dark side of her powers, she has a tough decision to make.
