The cover of this book is beautiful, and perfectly illustrates the concept of the story and its focus on all things beautiful. The excerpt, too, highlighted the author's strength as a writer. Her alternative Orleans is described with luscious detail, and I am intrigued by our leading lady. An excellent combination of strong concept and superb execution!
