I was super excited to read the First Look for Lev AC Rosen’s “The Bell in the Fog,” as I have heard great things about last year’s hit, “Lavender House.” The premise of his new book sounded interesting and the cover was intriguing, but I was disappointed to find that this just wasn’t the right book for me. I don’t normally read historical fiction or detective novels, so it may just be because the genre is outside of my comfort zone. Nonetheless, the writing draws you in and it is easy to form an emotional connection with the characters (I empathize deeply with Andy and his situation). While this may not be a book for me, I have a feeling it’s going to be a major hit!
