The character development was relatable and interesting. I really liked all of the characters. It did get confusing at times when the nameless character would be telling his thoughts, but it became clear in the end what was going on.
I didn't fully get the vampire vibe that I was expecting, but I don't think that's a bad thing in this case. The story kept up the engagement and there didn't seem to be too much down time which was a nice change.
Celine's character had a great voice throughout the story, and it made me want to learn more about her and what made her different from the others. Her story itself could continue to be expanded on if the author chose to do so, and it wouldn't have gotten to be too much or boring.
