Altogether I thought the plot was all right however I was finding myself in need of a little more action. Normally, I would love a good vampire romance-y book but this just didn’t really cut it for me. The majority of the encounters between the two main characters left me cringing as it was so awkward. Normally, I am unable to stop reading a book, possible even going hours without stopping. However, many times during this book I found myself stopping and needing to pause before I could continue to subject myself to the second hand embarrassment that I got from the majority of the conversations between the two main characters. The world building wants that great in my opinion and even as I’m writing this review about two months after I read the book, I find myself forgetting almost everything to do with the world. This is very unusual for me and if the world building was powerful enough than I would definitely remember every detail. In other books, even years later I can remember however this just shows me that I really wasn’t into this book. The sequel has been out for a few months now and I don’t find myself in a huge hurry to read it, although I wouldn’t be against it
