Am I right to say that is a historical romance with vampires?! I love that the dialogue is such a mixture of English, French, Scottish and even Spanish. Not a easy to write type of novel in my opinion specially when there is so much information about dresses and all the feminine details. Easy to read but such a boost of morale and confidence considering that is all about how the weakness of a young women who is without family and mixed race on top of all the other prejudices, always prevails because your strength can come from within and from living your life with courage, kindness and friendship.
