This was a great audio to listen to at work.
The suspense hooked me from the beginning.
I love Celine and Sebastian's characters. There were no dull moments that had me questioning what I'm reading.
The "killers" voice was a HUGE distraction 🤣. They talked painfully slow and then would aggressively whisper. Tbh their chapters were not short and I was only able to listen to 1 of their many chapters with no problem.
I am a bit confused of the hinting of Celine being "other". Didn't they mention she was originally attacked ...or maybe saying she's a killer and needed to get out of that environment. That was odd and I was TORN about Celine and Sebastian at the end😭
I'm curious about the second book in this series, because the ending, to know if we continue to follow one of my favorite characters. But at the same time, I could do without it. The ending was really disappointing for me though💔
