I first heard about this book here and was not a lucky winner for an ARC so I added it to my TBR and waited (not so patiently) for release day and finally got my hands on it.
Loved it! I loved the New Orleans magic of it all and the suspense and mystery revolving around the mysterious Sebastian. I will admit that Celine was a lead character I found a bit frustrating at times with her outbursts and quick judgements but overall the characters were all gothically intriguing, lol! I will definitley be reading the next book and hope that Poppy and Arjun come out more *fingers crossed*
I did not see that wicked ending coming and I was shocked! Like Home-Alone Shocked, mouth gaped open, hands on cheeks (in case you needed a visual). I didn't think I would be so torn up about it but it's been two weeks since I read it and I'm still anxious over the whole love triangle that sprouted out of the blue. I'm not a fan of that type of drama but the story really was good and it's definitely piqued my interest.
