When I first heard of this book, I was excited but I didn't know all the reasons I would grow to love this book. So I want to lay them out for you so if you're like me, you'll know to pick up this book.
First, the blurb advertises a main heterosexual romance. Yes, it's there, and I don't remember any of it because I didn't care. What it doesn't advertise is the girl of my dreams, maybe vampire and definite lesbian, Odette Valmont. She's so fucking awesome and she suggests we burn all men in the square, and I agree. There's a second character who I think is sapphic and would absolutely love if she got with Odette, but the identity of that character is very spoilery. Seriously though, if you're sapphic and into monsters, pick up this book. (Though you have to push past the Straights).
