Holy hell I loved this book. I was an absolute sucker to read this when I heard folks saying it was a vampire novel and I’ve been dying for more vampire books. Even better when they said it’s going to be the reason vampires come back into style. The romance between Celina and Bastien made me SWOON. I loved how it was slow building but even more, I loved how the mystery was being built throughout the book. I made so many notes on the side, and kept coming up with who was the killer only to be completely blind sighted who it turned out to be! Ah! This book defiantly made me sit in my room and think. I noticed a couple of plot holes but I have a feeling they’re going to be answered in the next installment of this supposed duology. I highly recommend this book!
