Before reading this book, I had acquired very high expectations. All I heard were good reviews about it, and I can confidently say that this book lived up to the height. The characters had so much depth and detail. They were all very individual and quirky in their own way. I loved Celine’s character, but Bastien won my heart. I read this book constantly entranced and full of questions, some of which have not yet been answered(I need the sequel now, please!). I will be hooked on this story for a very long time. I fell in love with the city of New Orleans through this book. It was truly the perfect choice for a setting in this book. This fast-paced bookkept pushing and pushing, only getting better. There was no weak spot in this book, it was all beautiful.
