I can't believe I haven't heard of this book before now! I LOVE historical fiction and maybe I'm a little biased but being from Louisiana makes me LOVE New Orleans, so this is perfect for me. I'm not really into romance but this feels like a twist with fantasy and mystery.
This is going to be a great read. The first look is full of suspense and mystery. But not only that, the imagery is amazing. I can hear the cicadas, smell the magnolia leaves and food. New Orleans is a magical, historical, and haunting place--this first look captures it all so perfectly.
