Renée Ahdieh has been one of my favorite authors since the release of The Wrath and the Dawn, so I’ve been anxiously waiting on this book! The cover is absolutely stunning, and as with all of Ahdieh’s books, the writing is stunning as well. As someone who grew up going to New Orleans, I loved reading this fantasy take on late 1800s New Orleans. Can’t wait to read the whole book!
