I loved the dark feel to the story. The promise of romance, the sinister villain, the strong heroine and the mysterious Court hooked me early on. Celine is definitely a character I can see myself rooting for and I'm beyond intrigued by the mystery boy she spies her first day in New Orleans. I loved the secondary characters too, they each stood out individually and added a nice touch to the story.
I was definitely feeling some Night Circus vibes going on and the whole other worldly vibe of New Orleans has a strong presence that just feeds into the murder mystery happening. I'll be adding this to my TBR asap!
