I'm a huge fan of Renee Ahdieh, having read her Wrath and the Dawn duology, and when I heard she was going to incorporate my favorite creature in the world--vampires--into her newest novel, I nearly lost it. Not only that, but my other buzz words are New Orleans, as a setting in a novel, and the 19th century, my favorite time period to read about. Put all these together and you have a great novel.
