This is quite the adult version of the retelling of a beauty and the beast story. Sensual, loving, and erotic all in one book. Nothing was too over the top though which I appreciated.
I fell in love with the beauty and strength of Astrid from the moment we met her. Her wit and love for her sister was above all else. Both she and Beswick had alot of things to work through but it gives one hope for the future. Hope that even though you may be scared, inside or outside, that love can heal and one can be happy.
The added side story of Isobel finding a mate was fun to follow. Afterall, she goes to Beswick to protect her sister (before the love blooms). It was nice to see another strong female character as well.
Needless to say, its a quick, fun, and easy read. Wont take you long but I do recommend to pick it up and give it a go.
