This story starts out in England in 1819. Lady Astrid Everleigh, age 25, and her 16 year old sister Isabel are the wards of their unscrupulous aunt and uncle. Their parents passed away many years ago but left their daughters a very large inheritance. However, the money seems to have vanished and the uncle is trying to marry off young Isabel. This seems like it would be an entertaining book but not a genre I generally read.
