Desperation leads to seeking protection from the Beast.

This short first glimpse into Amalie Howard’s The Beast of Beswick was very interesting and entertaining. The premise of this historical fiction story definitely captured my attention and I’m very interested in learning more about the Beast of Beswick, his personality and his reaction to Lady Astrid’s plan. I look forward to reading more about how their relationship develops and how Astrid manages to calm the Beast. Unfortunately, this glimpse was too short to get a real feel for the author’s writing style.

The cover is very eye catching.
