This was an interesting story.
This, as I found out after starting to read it is part of a series of stories about these characters. Tessa and Cole. They are high school sweethearts, and in part one of this book are in their first year of college. In part one, they face some issues. And then part two, it’s three years later, and Tessa has taken a job in New York, whole Cole is going to law school in Chicago.
I feel like I might have enjoyed this story had I read the previous parts. There was a lot of talk about things that happened on the characters past, and it left me confused.
I feel like there are times when Tessa let’s Cole get away with a lot. And let’s him kiss his way out of a lot of things, as apposed to talking about them. She was naive about a lot of things.
It was a sweet story, about love, surviving hardships. The story was well written. And you could picture what was going on.
