This book was not what I was expecting at all. After reading the first impression, I assumed that Tessa was going to be a strong female character. I assumed wrong. Back and forth, round and round they go. They're together and then they aren't. And then they do it again. Cole announced that they were breaking up and then told her they weren't, not in the real sense anyway. So they act like they aren't together but they are. Then he announced that they're still together. They fight and make up a billion times and Tessa never sees that it's her fault. Her friends have to tell her the most obvious answers. I prefer her friend Cami honestly. She seems pretty awesome. And I really like Cole as a character also. But Tessa kind of ruined it for me.
