I have not read the first two books in this series, but I really enjoyed this book. There seemed to be quite a few references back to the first two books, but it didn't take away from this one. The book is well written. I like the fact that the main characters do not come from perfect families, but they don't let the drama get them down for long. They help each other work through their insecurities and doubts. This book is about a young couple that have a lot of people and problems against them. Instead of just giving up when the going gets tough, they work hard to stay together. I didn't like how the book ended on a little bit of a cliff hanger. I hope there will be another book in this series. I am hooked. Now I need to go back and read the first two.
