I am not feeling this at all and had to force myself to finish reading the excerpt. I don't want to be mean, but this read like a poorly written middle school English paper. I feel no connection to the characters and do think they are that likable. I will wait until more people read the whole book and see where it goes from there. Maybe, I will give it another chance.
