✨Review✨

Thank you so much Kensington Books for the free ARC of “The Babysitter” to review. You can grab a copy on 6/30/20.

“A killer is preying on babysitters. Is this new nightmare connected with the horrific night twenty years ago that left two sisters scarred for life?”

Okay so I thought this book had so much potential. I thought it was going to be very horror movie like and instead I was left wanting so much more creepiness. With such a terrifying premise I think I just set my expectations too high and was let down when this book wasn’t nearly as scary as I wanted it to be. Instead it was more suspenseful and even had some romance thrown in there.

I also thought there were just way too many characters. At some points I just couldn’t keep them all straight and couldn’t remember everyone’s relationship to one another.

The good thing was that the ending did surprise me. The killer came as a shock to me and made the book worth finishing. It even bumped my rating up a little bit! So while it wasn’t my personal favorite, I would recommend grabbing a copy of “The Babysitter” so that you can see if you like it more!
