This book was a little slow to start for me but once I got into it I had a hard time pulling myself away, It was full of twists and turns as layers of decades old secrets are pulled away. When Jamie was in high school she convinced her older sister to take over babysitting for her so she could meet a boy at a party. There were rumors of a babysitter stalker but Jamie and her sister, Emma, don’t believe them. Regardless Emma is attacked and left damaged but alive but nothing is ever the same. This is the story of Jamie’s return home with her own teenage daughter and the struggle to determine what truly happened all those years before. But strange things are happening again and it becomes a race for Jamie to figure it out before it’s too late.
