Jamie's sister emma was attacked while babysitting for the ryerson's, so that jamie could attend a party. Emma's injuries were so bad that she never fully recovered. Wracked with guilt jamie has never forgiven herself. years later when her mother passes away jamie returns to the small town of river glen. Then another attack occurs, and people in the town are on edge. Is there a Babysitter killer on the loose?
The suspense was really good but the pace was a bit too slow. The characters were well written, the relationship between Emma and Jamie really seemed to improve the the more time they spent together and i think that emma having Jamie in her life again really helped her. She seemed so distant at first but then after some time she became more comfortable, she was often times funny. I felt that she was such a strong character. I loved the romance between Jamie and cooper, they were so great together. This book kept me guessing until the very end, the plot twist was such a shocker.
If you enjoy suspense with a little romance and a great twist at the end then you'll enjoy this book.
