This is a very good mystery. I was expecting this to be a scary book like the Whisper Man but it wasn't like that at all. It is, however, a really book mystery novel. A young babysitter, Emma, is a victim of a random stabbing 20 years earlier. Her sister, Jamie, was supposed to babysit that night but wanted to attend a high school party so she convinced her sister to take her place. As a result of the stabbing, Emma is left mentally disabled. Recently their mother has passed away so her Emma and her daughter move back to town to take care of Emma. Now, 20 years later, the babysitter stabbings have started up again. Is it the same person or a copycat? Was Emma the intended victim or was Jamie. That is the mystery. Along the way other information is revealed so a lot of red herrings are thrown your way. The big reveal is a shocker.
