Jamie is like so many people I know. She moved away from home after high school and had a daughter. She wakes up one morning and knows she has to go home.
When she gets there she in reunited with many of the kids she knew from school and learns what there lives are like. She also has to take care of her older sister and her daughter. And the past comes back all over again. It starts to get exciting!
This is a mystery with a little suspense. It was written so well I felt like I was in the story like a fly on the wall or like one of the women who met at the bar for drinks and was kept in the know.
The characters were nice to get to know and each had an interesting enough life that gave a lot to the story.
I really liked how the story didn't try to throw a bunch of curves at you like some stories do but kept it mysterious and interesting up till the end.
