I really like that I know this book kind of comes of as a normal contemporary fiction about a family coming together after a death. But, from the cover and the excerpt, I know that is far from the truth. This leads me to think there are lots of twists and turns to come from this book and that is very exciting indeed! I like all of the strong female characters and I am curious to see how they navigate this new life they find themselves in.
