This book made me feel like that one clip in this show where the babysitter says "I am here to sit on the baby." It had some quirk, but that was quickly overshadowed by the abundant of dialogue and scenes that would have been better cut out. I feel like the story seems like a longer Goosebumps-like book. The problem with this is that Goosebumps works because while it is childish and does not give what some might be looking for in gore or 'spine chilling scares,' it gives enough action scenes and little chapter cliffhangers that make my eyes wander to the next page. I feel like this could do this as well, but it starts off losing my interest, and maybe this is a sequel for something because I don't quite follow some of the story's past memories of some of the characters.
