This book reminds me of the movie When a Stranger Calls, which is the one about a babysitter who is terrorized and then hunted by some mysterious person over the phone. I loved that movie because of the suspense and the realization that the situation isn't very far-fetched. This book synopsis and first look is giving me that same vibe and I love it because it's almost like a continuation, looking at the aftermath of a "scary movie" and bringing you right to the sequel. I was sucked in right away and am very interested in how the story will progress, as well as the character development as Jamie struggles with her guilt.
