I'm curious about who committed the crime and why, but I didn't find the author's writing style to be suspenseful or mysterious. After the eighteen-year jump, I felt like the author was telling all these facts rather than showing us through Jamie's eyes. The cover feels old-fashioned and doesn't catch my eye.
