Find your passion even if it is Escaping!

The Art of Escaping was a fun, humorous novel about finding your passion and having the motivation to pursue it, no matter what gets in the way. The characters were very colorful, well-developed and sometimes very funny. Interesting that Mattie, the main character is compelled to learn escapology and shows us how important it is to pursue your passion, while Miyu is desperately trying to escape her past and hide away. Will is also desperately trying to escape who he is and not show the world his secrets. Overall, very unique premise and characters and well-researched info thrown in about escapology. My only criticism is that there were some important issues that needed more attention, like homophobia, and some of the jumping around/pacing of the book was annoying.
