I felt pretty confused right off the bat being dropped into the middle of these characters' text conversation, and then jumping over to what seemed like an excerpt from another book, and then getting into some storyline about meeting someone this main character idolizes a bit, and then being led into a flashback from the main character's school days. In this one little first look, I feel like I've been thrown back and forth so much that I don't actually know if I'm interested in reading more because I barely know what there is to be interested in. Escapology seemed like a cool idea when reading the book description, but I still don't quite know what it is or if this main character is going to do something cool with it...which is making me feel a little less excited. Long story short: I haven't been told enough of the juicy stuff yet!
