A good few chapters, but will it hold?

So many YA books about high school get it wrong--over-dramatizing the interactions between students and reducing adults to caricatures. So far, The Art of Escaping is getting it right. The escapology aspect may make this a book too quirky to be relatable, but I have hope. The mystery of Miyu isn't terribly engaging, but the treatment of the interactions in the school scene is good enough to make me want to read more.
