This book left an impression within the first couple of paragraphs. The author's descriptions of both the cities and the people within the novel had such a sad, beauty to it. I think right off the bat the author gave the reader an idea of the troubles to come in this book.
I am excited to see the contrast between cultures both within this novel and compared to what I know. I want to continue reading to both see what happens and learn more about other people, places and cultures. I am excited for this novel to come, I want everyone to read it!
