First off I like the art for the cover because it looks like a pretty painting then you notice it is about arson. Or maybe someone might notice it is about arson but the cover looks pretty so you pick it up anyways. I like that this story is about middle eastern countries and their culture written by someone from that ethnicity. I just started American Dirt by a woman that claims to be white and I am not into it as much as I would be if it was was written by someone who claimed to be Latinx.
