My first impression from the cover was "wow this looks like Christmas/ fall vibe type of book". Yet, as I started reading what it is really about I figured I was completely wrong, but the topic does have a connection with what I was thinking it was about. That connection being family. The plot brings out important aspects, which I love. Like how this books brings up representation from a family across the world, migration, aside of the other aspects: politics, secrets, and mystery. Fairly interesting.
