Typically, I enjoy reading about other cultural lifestyles. I always thought it was a learning experience to look into lives of families and different cultures. Unfortunately this particular novel just didn’t hold my attention enough to want to continue reading it. I don’t think it was as much because it was so different from my lifestyle as much as I didn’t care for the writing style. I think I will have to get this novel a pass.
