This was wonderful, gripping, and fascinating all at once. I was skeptical when I read the synopsis, but only because I usually don't gravitate first toward period pieces. This is the exception.
The story seems wild and it reminds me of that movie, Night in the Museum? Only with an adult fiction, but still educational twist. I felt like I learned something even only in the first ten pages, and that's saying something. I love to learn while I read!
