What I enjoyed in this sneak peek is how you begin to delve into the character’s life history with the hints of the effects of her childhood on who she is as an adult. You begin to see her position in society as a woman, and the role she plays at the museum.
The author starts to delve into how circumstances around the war effected civilians and some of the dangers prized possessions related to historic events and science were also effected by the dangers of the war.
