First, I absolutely love the cover. It's striking, and the color combos is really speaking to me. Second, the synopsis and excerpt pulled me right in. I loved the synopsis even though I'm not the biggest fan of novel set in past eras. Definitely a book that I would have loved to discover at a book store and buy immediately.
