I enjoyed gifting a copy of this novel with other Celadon Book lovers across the state in local Little Free Libraries last year. I started reading this one early on and found myself struggling a lot with the timelines and character setups. The atmosphere was well done and I wanted to know what would happen.
When Macmillan recently offered the audiobook I had to jump on it, especially with Rosalie Craig narrating! The audiobook is read wonderfully and picked things up a lot for me. However, I was hitting the rewind button a lot on this one.
I think the idea behind the plot was unique and maybe with less POVs and a more focused plot it would've hit home for me. Unfortunately this one wasn't for me but I recommend checking out other reviews.
