Alex North has become a very popular author in the thriller world over the last couple of years. He's a name that definitely brings hype when you hear he us coming out with a new story. I was excited to read this and got my hands on it pretty quickly after release. I decided to go the audiobook route on my first read. The writing was intriguing but it felt bit confusing at times and jumped around quart a bit. There were multiple timelines, multiple families, and it felt like a bit too much was packed into this story. I really liked the idea if 'the angel maker' and thought the vision for the story was there. The execution of the plot and the convoluted cast of characters definetly missed the marl for me. I did end up finishing this book, so atleast it was not a DNF. The highest rating I could give thus was two stars. Hopefully this authors next one will be better!
