This was my first book by the author and I have heard great things about his other books so I was excited to read this one.
But sadly I was very disappointed in the story. It was so hard for me to understand what was happening and who the people were. I thought this was just me until I read other people’s reviews saying the same thing.
The plot was interesting but for me not executed very well. I was not invested or entertained and I’m surprised I was actually able to finish it. There was just to much going on. I appreciate how the story was unique, but maybe it was to far out there.
This was definitely a disappointing read. Because I had no idea what was happening, the ending lost its intended impact.
I listened to the audio version of this story which might have played into me being confused but I’m not sure.
That being said I do want to give his other books a try.
