Alex North is by far one of my favorite psychological thriller writers, and his latest work fulfilled all my hopes and expectation for a truly frightening read. Filled with plot twists and revelations that left me reeling, this book needs to be at the top of your TBR for next year. A huge thank you to Celadon Books for a chance to review an early copy of this.

Katie Shaw's younger brother, Chris, was brutally attacked by a child, which left permanent physical and mental scars. Years later, those scars are still healing, and Katie discovers her brother is in deep trouble. At the same time, her family is being stalked day and night by someone who knows something about her brother. In the search to save her brother and protect her own daughter, Katie becomes wrapped up in a much more sinister story.

Spanning decades and told from multiple perspectives, North keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I only anticipated one of the many plot twists and was so creeped out I could only read it during the day. A couple of things were revealed early on, which was surprising, but it didn't diminish the storyline in any way.

Hair-raising, Fulfilling, and Nightmarish, this thriller met all of my expectations.
