I went into this book with really high expectations, and holy cow, what a joke. I wanted to dnf this book sooooo many times, but I kept going (and now I'm kicking myself for that). I was bored, confused, and again, bored. I really thought this was going to be a suspenseful book that I could not put down, and that was sooo far from the actual truth. I had a hard time keeping everything and everyone straight, and I felt like I really had to work hard at this book. This was one of those books that when you see people hyping it up and getting ready for release, you instantly buy it and get to work on it. That's exactly what I ended up doing. I'm hoping that this was just not my cup of tea with this particular book, and I'm willing to read another one by this author, but I definitely won't be recommending this book to any of my friends for family. Still irritated about this one.
