Alex North is a talented writer who knows how to engage his reader in the story right from the start. He uses brief but good descriptions of places and people along with realistic character dialogue. He draws the reader right into the plot of the story making one curious as to what will happen next. Even though I’m curious, I’m not a person who enjoys stories where I wonder who and how someone will get hurt next.
